Gary Beekhuizen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Beekhuizen of Oskaloosa, Iowa, who passed away on January 29, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gerrit Beekhuizen and Minnie Beekhuizen (Hol); his wife Andrea Van Zee; his children, Clarice and Greg; his family, Glenn, Clarice Meinders (Pella), Maria, Gerrit, Greg, Katie Beekhuizen (Pella), Graham, Aliza, Amelia, Callan and Griffin Gary; his sister Janet Van Hall; his parents-in-law, Clarence M. and Loretta Van Zee; his brother Gilbert (Wilma); and his brother-in-law Wilbur Van Hall. He was also cherished by his family dearly, and so enjoyed being "Opa" to his grandkids.
Diagnosed with Parkinson's disease nearly 10 years ago, the disease slowly ravaged his body and mind.
