It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Garold Heslinga of Oskaloosa, Iowa, who passed away on October 25, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin R. Heslinga and Anna R. Heslinga (Van Heukelom); his brothers, Harold and John; and his son Tim Heslinga.
He is survived by: his wife Mary of Oskaloosa; his children, Jane (Tim Fessler), Mark Heslinga of Salem, Kim (Jack Scieszinski), Vicki (Ron Van Der Pol) and Kathy Heslinga of Avon, Colorado; and his sister JoAnn. He is also survived by seven grandsons and their wives, one granddaughter, 13 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-granddaughters.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Mahaska Health Foundation to the Hospice Serenity House or the Welcome Home Soldier Memorial near Albia.
