Evelyn Varley Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Varley of Oskaloosa, Iowa, who passed away on December 6, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellen Roberts (Cooper) and Noel Burdell Roberts; and her sisters, Eileen Kay and Beverly Ann. She is survived by: her husband Carl; her children, Stephen Varley (Judith), Julie Bautista and Cathy Scherr (Peter); her grandchildren, Brianna Moser (Tyler), Caitlin Wellman (Graham), Sara Bautista (Ryan Smith), Kevin Varley (Alejandra), Alaina Bautista, Anna Varley, Preston Scherr and Rachel Scherr; and her great grandchildren, Evelyn Moser, Lillian Moser, Reid Wellman and Jocelyn.
On a magical Saturday in October, she and Carl celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with all their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren together for the first time since before the pandemic.
