It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elinore Griffiths (Oskaloosa, Iowa), born in Glenwood, Iowa, who passed away on March 1, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan Allen and Violet Pearl Allen (Yeoman); her husband Ike Griffiths; and her siblings, Frank Allen, Danny Allen, Bill Johnson (Louise) and Mary Mae Johnson.
She is survived by: her former spouse A. P. Howard; her son Ron Howard (Brenda) of Visalia, CA; her close friend JoAnn Hemenez; her daughter Kelly Hoekstra (John) of Oskaloosa; her grandchildren, Ashley, Wesley and Matthew; her great grandchildren, Michael and Harlee Quinn; and her sisters-in-law, Jo Allen and Sally Allen.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Mahaska Health Hospice Serenity House.
