It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eleanor J. Langstraat of Oskaloosa, Iowa, who passed away on October 23, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry W. McCarty and Anna E. Ankeney McCarty; her husband Lawrence Langstraat; and her siblings, Anna McCarty, Shirley Gibbons, Floyd McCarty and Herold McCarty.
She is survived by: her aunt Ella; her uncle Ed Winchell; her children, Sherry Langstraat of Oskaloosa and Mark Langstraat (Susan) of Columbia, Missouri; her grandson Kurt Langstraat (Nicole); and her great grandchildren, Jenna, Zylor and Riley. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
According to the rules put in place by the Iowa Department of Public Health, proper social distancing and reasonable personal protective equipment is advised for attending a religious public event.
