She was predeceased by: her parents, Keith Shaw and Hattie Chambers Shaw. She is survived by: her husband Irvin Slagter of Oskaloosa; her sons, Nick Slagter of Eddyville and Mark Van Wyk (Tami); her grandsons, Dylan Van Wyk of Oskaloosa, Trey Van Wyk of Oskaloosa and Braxton Slagter of Oskaloosa; her siblings, Dale Shaw of Oskaloosa, Gloria Renaud (Alvin) of Oskaloosa and Barbara Shimon (Fred) of North Liberty; her niece Tami Bringman; her great-nephew Tyler Bringman; and also Autumn.
