She was predeceased by: her parents, Kryne "K. C." DeBooy and Cathern Vander Linden DeBooy; and her pet Gracie. She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Crookham Johnson (Kevin) of Oskaloosa, Linda Crookham Hansen (Frank) of Oskaloosa and Beth Crookham of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Max Johnson and Ruby Johnson; and her sister Beverly (Bill Konas) of Medina, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mahaska County YMCA, Oskaloosa Public Library, or Iowa Public Radio.
