With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Cook (Oskaloosa, Iowa), born in Monroe, Iowa, who passed away on May 11, 2019 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Vincent and Anna Beulah Cook (Rodabaugh); his brothers, Galen Cook (Marlene) of Ottumwa and Lawrence Cook of Albia; and his son-in-law Peter Marshall of Des Moines.
He is survived by: his daughters, Marianne Thomas (Johnny) of Ottumwa, Linda Spears (Randy) of Hedrick, Sandra Marshall of Oskaloosa and Lavonne Johannes (Kent) of Oskaloosa; his grandchildren, Eric Bishop (Jenni), Kelli Bryan, Shannon Spears (Courtney), Travis Spears (Colleen), Josh Johannes (Tasha), Nathan Johannes, Caleb Johannes and Erica Spurgeon (Joe); his great grandchildren, Jesse Bishop (Jazmin), Jake Bishop (Carlos), Elijah Bishop (Breann), Dyllen Robinson, Logan Robinson, Jaynna Robinson, Gabriel Bryan, Maddison Johannes, Jep Johannes, Zeke Johannes and Aubrey Spurgeon; and his great great grandchildren, Lucy Bishop and Denver Robinson.
