We are sad to announce that on May 24, 2020, at the age of 65, Debra Jean Carmer (Oskaloosa, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Henry Sr. and Mary Lou McGinity (Mitchell). She is survived by: her husband Denny Carmer of Oskaloosa; her children, Michelle Plate (Tim) of Cedar and Brian Carmer (Michelle) of Ottumwa; her grandchildren, Nicole Harland (Jeff) of Fremont, Dakota Shepherd of Fremont, Quinton Carmer of Knoxville, Chase Carmer of Ottumwa, Racin Carmer of Ottumwa, Kysha Clark (Sean) of Ottumwa, Alissa Johnston (Justin) of Hedrick, Logan Plate of Ottumwa, Shiann Miller of Ottumwa and Shontell Miller of Ottumwa; and her siblings, Kathy Anderson of New Sharon, Evelyn Klampe (Dave) of Pella, Brenda Andreas of Des Moines, Teresa Brown (Elvin) of Fremont and Edward "Sonny" McGinity Jr. (Janis) of Texas. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the family to be determined at a later date.
