He is survived by: his mother Carol Stainbrook Scholtus of Oskaloosa; his wife Tammy Moore of Oskaloosa; his stepdaughters, Tonya Boeck (Matt) of Ames and Tasha Lyon (Brock) of Indiana; his siblings, Glenn Scholtus (Deseiri) of Oskaloosa, Dean Scholtus (Gina) of Fremont, Sam Scholtus of Oskaloosa, Renee Ault of Oskaloosa and Robin Hook (Randy) of Oskaloosa; and his close friend Tom VanDerVeer.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bates Funeral Chapel (114 S 7th St, Oskaloosa, IA 52577). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the White Oak Cemetery.
