It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Jean Sams (Oskaloosa, Iowa), who passed away on June 19, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Braden and Rosa Lockard Braden; her daughter Sharon Bittner; her great grandchild Stephen Stewart; and her siblings, Donald Braden, Leon Braden and Pauline Walker.
She is survived by: her daughter Vonda Criss of Oskaloosa; her son-in-law Del Bittner of Oskaloosa; her grandchildren, Kandice League, Kimberly Stewart, Scott Bittner, Karla Fresquez, Tyler Criss and Tucker Criss; and her siblings, LuVerne Braden of Oskaloosa, Duaine Braden (Sharon) of Oskaloosa, Ronnie "Whitey" Braden (Sharon) of Arizona and Judy Topel of Phoenix.
