He is survived by: his parents, Lecil Ray and Hannah DeWitt (Schinerder); his spouse Velma Jean Christophel; his children, Gary DeWitt (Myrna) of Virginia Beach, VA, Dennis DeWitt of Oskaloosa and Bonnie Richards (Raymond) of Oskaloosa; his grandchildren, Scott DeWitt (Shari), Jim DeWitt (Joyce), Brandi Allen (Curt), Todd Richards (Mandi), Cynthia Molyneux (Aaron) and Cristina Fernandez; and his siblings, Lorna Wolford of Illinois and Willard DeWitt of Illinois.
