She was predeceased by: her parents, George Oppenhuizen and Gertrude Oppenhuizen (Bouma); her husband Rev. Peter Vander Weide; her siblings, Wilme, Engelus, Hessel, Edwin, Agnes, Jean and Winerva; and her daughter Valerare Claire Murphy (Patrick).
She is survived by: her children, Trudy Jean Harwell of Oskaloosa, George Henry Vander Weide (Deb) of Grand Haven, MI, Vincent Pierre Vander Weide (Amy) of Visalia, CA and Paul Edwin Vander Weide of Oskaloosa, IA.; and her sister-in-law Kathleen Oppenhuizen of Phoenix, AZ.. She is also survived by 7 grandsons; 7 granddaughters; 11 great grand children.
