It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Chad Messerli of Oskaloosa, Iowa, who passed away on March 3, 2021, at the age of 36, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Martin Messerli; his grandparents, Paul Messerli, David and Marianne Main; and his cousin Dez Messerli.
He is survived by: his mother Deborah Messerli (Main) of Knoxville; his former wife Brandi Hegwood; his children, Raiden and Karleigh Messerli of Oskaloosa; his sisters, Melissa Yoder (Ben) of Iowa City and Wendy Kelsey (Jerry) of Gilbert, AZ; his grandmother Benita Messerli; and his nieces and nephews, Abigail, Byron, Riley Yoder, Shiphrah and Gideon Kelsey.
According to the rules put in place by the Iowa Department of Public Health, proper social distancing and reasonable personal protective equipment is advised for attending a religious public event.
Memorials may be made to the Chad Messerli Memorial Fund to be used for Chad's Children or the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
