Carolyn Ringelestein Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Ringelestein of Oskaloosa, Iowa, who passed away on September 24, 2020 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John William and Nancy Pippel Groenenboom; her husband Arie Ringelestein; her great grandchild Angel Rambhajan; and her brother William Groenenboom.
She is survived by: her children, John Ringelestein (Judy) of Ames, Nancy Veldhuizen (Lee) of Pella, Keith Ringelestein of Fremont and Carroll Ringelestein (Marlene) of Mt. Zion, Illinois; her grandchildren, Don Ringelestein (Lisa), Lisa Cardinell (John), Dan Veldhuizen (Anita), Lori Van Kooten (Brad), Amy Van Wyk (Russ), Paul Ringelestein (Jessica), Katie Rambhajan (Randy) and Joseph Ringelestein (Lacey); and her great grandchildren, Anne, Johnny Ringelestein, Jessica Blocker (Darin), Janelle, Alexa Veldhuizen, Kyle Van Kooten (Abigail), Marissa Jordening (Colton), Jacob Van Kooten, Meredith Van Wyk, Kendall, Dean and Archie Ringelestein. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
According to the rules put in place by the Iowa Department of Public Health, proper social distancing and reasonable personal protective equipment is advised for attending a religious public event. Carolyn's family requests everyone attending please wear a mask.
