He was predeceased by: his parents, Abraham "Abe" and Harriet Nunnikhoven (Vander Schaaf). He is survived by: his wife Lorna Van Gorp of Oskaloosa; his daughters, Staci Spoelstra (Mark) of New Sharon and Shelby Andreas (Marc) of Grand Rapids, MI; his grandchildren, Kevin Spoelstra (Meredith), Katie Spoelstra, Connor Andreas (Bree), Adeline Andreas, Lovely Andreas, Galadriel Andreas, Jonah Andreas, Ivy Andreas and Willow Andreas; and his siblings, Allen Nunnikhoven (Kerrilyn) of Oskaloosa, Howard Nunnikhoven (Beverly) of Lynden, Washington., Marcella King (Phil) of Georgetown and Alice VanWyk (Robert) of Oskaloosa.
According to the rules put in place by the Iowa Department of Public Health, proper social distancing and reasonable personal protective equipment is advised for attending a religious public event.
