She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Bowman and Liberty Halstead Bowman; her husband Raymond Joseph Johns; her son Raymond Paul Johns; and her siblings, Mary Mathieson, Harold Bowman, Bev Wheeler and Kenneth Bowman.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Graham (Tom) of Springfield, Byron Johns (Lori) of Gower, Russel Johns of Keokuk, Becky Mortimer (Tom Grogan) of Fort Madison and Nancy Laymon (Trey); her grandchildren, Bradley, Katherine, Colleen, Corrina, Azylia and Christopher; her great grandchildren, Eli and Jackson; and her siblings, Earl Lee Bowman (Judy), Norma Bowman, Jim Bowman (Marilyn), Joyce Olsen (Butch), Gary Bowman (Kay), Danny Bowman, Sandy Lyons (Mike), Debbie Svoboda (Tim) and Kathy Schwiesow (Marc). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She donated selflessly of her time, resources, and baking talents to many church functions.
