She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Slay and Lillian Marie Slay (Krile); her husband LeRoy Swick; and her siblings, Pauline Fitzgerald and Larry Slay.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Conte of Des Moines, Peggy Dykstra (Terry) of Oskaloosa and Paul Swick of Oskaloosa; her grandchildren, Sarah Downey (Nick), Joe Conte, Whitney Means (Seth) and Collin Swick (Katie); and her great grandchildren, Tyler Downey and Olivia Means. She is also survived by animals with her children.
