She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Ross and Mae McCammet Ross; her daughter-in-law Stephanie Piersel; her great grandchild Desmond Atreyu Downey-Steele; and her brothers, Robert Ross and William Ross.
She is survived by: her spouse Floyd Piersel of Oskaloosa; her children, Wade, Scott Piersel, Keith Piersel of Mt, Pleasant and Lynn Piersel of Hanford; and her sisters, Doris Van Helton of Oskaloosa, Darlene and Plate of Arizona. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; a step granddaughter; 11 great grandchildren.
