She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Buffington and Edith Buffington; her husband Martin Farrell; and her children, Cheri Gruening (Tom), Merry Snyder (Kirk), John Farrell (Laura), Liz Enger (John), Jeff Farrell (Gayle) and Brian Farrell (Lisa). She was also cherished by 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
