She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerritt Lune and Carrie Vande Lune (VanderLinden); her husband Charles Walling; and her siblings, Arthur Vande Lune, Tom Vande Lune, Glenn Vande Lune, Charles Vande Lune, Dorothy Barnhouse, Joyce Jonker and Lois Haynie.
She is survived by: her former husband Robert M. Gillespie; her sons, Tom Gillespie (Marti) of Oskaloosa and Terry Gillespie (Rita) of Thornton, CO; her grandchildren, Aaron Gillespie of St. Peter's, MO., Anne Gillespie (Lloyd Johnson) of Los Angeles, CA. and Garret Gillespie of Denver, CO; her great grandchildren, Alexander and Anna-Elaine Gillespie; her stepchildren, Dr. A. K. Walling (Rebecca), Tom Walling (Deborah) and Anne Dowdle (John); her stepgrandchildren, Laura, Charley, Chris, Eleanor, Ryan and Conor; her stepgreat-grandchild Bode Fitzwater; her sister Blanche Denburger; and her sisters-in-law, Peggy Vande Lune and Sandra Vande Lune. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to MHP Serenity Hospice House or the First Christian Church in Oskaloosa.
