She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kool and Jennie Kool (Van Engelenhoven); and her siblings, Wilma Beekhuizen of Pella, Freda Roozeboom of Pella and Elmer Kool.
She is survived by: her son Johnny Veldhuizen (Ongie) of Blairsville, GA; her grandson Randy Veldhuizen (Kim) of Oskaloosa; her great grandchildren, Cody Veldhuizen (Jacquelin), Sarah Wills (Jay), Gregory Haines (Andy Corbin) and Logan Ashman; her grandson Robert Veldhuizen (Jill) of Eddyville; her great grandchildren, James Veldhuizen and Emma McDonough; and also, Leo and Ann Veldhuizen of Albia, Iowa..
According to the rules put in place by the Iowa Department of Public Health, proper social distancing and appropriate personal protective equipment are required for attending these public events.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gideons, Mahaska Health Partnership Hospice Serenity House, or the First Christian Reformed Church.
