He was predeceased by: his father Emil Wessels; and his brother-in-law Al Sparling. He is survived by: his former spouses, Dixie Tarr and Connie Garrett; his children, Loretta McCloud (Ed) of Oskaloosa, Amanda O'Brien (Dennis) of Oskaloosa, Christina Tille (Blake) of Oskaloosa, Daniel Beason (Jody) of Oskaloosa and Dewayne Jemison (Tammy Langstraat) of Beacon; and his siblings, Patricia Sparling of Indiana, Jeanette Winsett of Texas, Cathleen Kutsher of Texas, Cynthia Young of Texas, Carol Berger of Texas, Larry Wessels of Texas, Gary Wessels of Texas and Kenny Wessels of Texas. He is also survived by grandchildren; many great grandchild.
