It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice E. Barnard of Oskaloosa, Iowa, who passed away on June 11, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Welton and Emma Welton (Loyd); her husband Jay W. Barnard; and her sisters, Martha Jane Youngker, Evelyn Randell, Neva Shadley and Vida Reed.
She is survived by: her sons, Roger, Richard "Dick" Barnard (Mary) of Oskaloosa and Charles "Chuck" Barnard (Annette) of Scottsdale, Arizona; her family Roger Barnard of Johnston; her grandchildren, Derek Barnard (Melissa), Darin Barnard, Denise Barnard (Laura) and Jennifer Neck (Christopher); her great grandchildren, Crayge Majors (Megan), Alexandra Barnard (Chelsea), Bryton Neck, Giselle Neck and Daniel Barnard; her great great grandchildren, Elizabeth Majors and Connor Majors; and her sister Dorothy Rae Turley of Phoenix, Arizona.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Cedar United Methodist Church or MHP Hospice Serenity House.
