He was predeceased by: his parents, William Booy and Emily Booy (Uitermarkt); his siblings, Jim, Arvin Booy (Leola), Marlene Weiner, Shirley Nichols and Janice Rentzler; and his siblings-in-law, Darrell Weiner and Janet Booy.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Jean Brueklander; his brothers, Harold Booy (Evelyn) of Mountain Home, AR and Raymond Booy of Mauldin Bridge, NY; and his siblings-in-law, Claude Nichols of Auburn, NE and Carolyn Booy of Sun Valley, AZ..
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Langkamp Funeral Chapel (2116 N 3rd St, Oskaloosa, IA 52577). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Mahaska Health Hospice Serenity House.
