He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kenenth Nickel and Marie Deemer Nickel; his wife Tina Greene of Oskaloosa; his children, Rocky Nickel of Oklahoma, Dawn Nickel of Knoxville, Kenneth Nickel (April Evans) of Oskaloosa, Gary Nickel (Elena) of Green City and Mary Nickel of Oskaloosa; his grandchildren, Rocky, Jr., Rex, Samantha, Destiny, Kaitlyn, Riley, Gary, Jr., Krystianna, Lora, Janea and DeVontae; his siblings, Lawrence Nickel of Knoxville, Gerald Nickel of Knoxville, Terry Moon of Oskaloosa and Tina Gardner of Des Moines; and his nieces and nephews, Patricia, Cindy, John, Jessica, Skylar and Monica.
