Al Ault Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Al Ault of Oskaloosa, Iowa, born in Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on April 8, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Thomas and Marguerite Ault Sr. (Edstrand); his brothers, Robert and Cecil (Tom); his father-in-law Marion Scholtus; and his nephew Andrew Scholtus.
He is survived by: his brother Tom; his former wife Kathy Myers; his wife Renee Sue Scholtus of Oskaloosa; his son Steven Ault Myers (Claire) of Rhode Island; his grandchildren, Ferryn and Skylar; his great grandchild Ashton Buck (Ryan) of Oskaloosa; his sister Janet Copley of California; his mother-in-law Carol Scholtus of Fremont; his son-in-law Ryan; and also, Dorian, Sean Ault of Oskaloosa and Carol. He is also survived by several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to The Alzheimer's Foundation, The Hospice Serenity House in Oskaloosa, or your local school's music department to keep the music alive for the younger generations because for Al, it was all about the music.
