He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood Wayne Palmer and Alice Aileen Blakely; his brothers, Donovan and Robert Palmer; and his stepson Bo Hopkins.
He is survived by: his wife Sande; his children, David Palmer (Sandy) of Orlando, Florida and Deborah Yanna (Douglas); and his stepchildren, Angel Streebin (David) of Elkhorn, Nebraska and Mike Hopkins (Linda) of Osceola, Iowa.. He is also survived by his numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kale Funeral Home - Osceola (301 S Main St, Osceola, IA 50213). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
