She is survived by: her husband Paul Richard Chesnut; her sons, Paul Mark Chesnut and Douglas Larsen Chesnut (Paul Richard Chesnut); her sister-in-law Sally Chesnut Oldham; her nephew Ronnie Nazette; her brother Mark Hughes; her parents-in-law, Paul Foster Chesnut and Anjean Chesnut; her sons, Jack Chesnut (Kylene) of Osceola, IA and Joe Chesnut (Brittany) of Chariton, IA; her mother Marcella Janice Hughes of Neligh, NE; her grandchildren, Kenley of Osceola, IA, Bennett of Osceola, IA and Camille Chesnut of Osceola, IA; her siblings, Ted Hughes (Charlene) of Neligh, NE, Jayne Funk (Joe) of Neligh, NE and Scott Hughes (Connie) of Norfolk, NE; and her brother-in-law David Oldham of Winterset, IA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Interment will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery, Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
