She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Cal Skinner and Gwendolene Esther York Skinner. She is survived by: her husband Robert Lee Merchant; her siblings, Ada Broussard, Jesse Skinner, Doug Skinner, Beatrice Allen, Lonnie Skinner, Dovie Nall, Floyd Skinner, Lloyd Skinner, Mary McGuairt, James Wade Skinner, Jim Skinner, John Skinner and Billy Skinner; her parents-in-law, Eleanor Eva Guthrie and Ira M. Merchant (Robert Lee Merchant); her daughters, Eva Husted (George, Jr) of Osceola, IA and Melissa Lee (David) of Weldon, IA; her grandchildren, Matthew Husted (Amber) of Kingman, AZ, Dustin Husted (Ronee) of Las Vegas, NV and Chelsea Lee of Weldon, IA; her great grandchildren, Xandria "Zannie" Hoepker, Kyler Husted of Las Vegas, NV, Ashlyn Husted of Kingman, AZ and Marcus Husted of Kingman, AZ.; her brothers, Herman Skinner (Linda) of Fort Worth and Donald Skinner of Sunset; and her sister-in-law Carol Merchant of Newburgh, IN. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Kale Funeral Home - Osceola (301 S Main St, Osceola, IA 50213). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Interment will be in the Maple Hill CemeteryMemorial contributions may be directed to her family for a fitting tribute to be decided on at a later date.
