It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ernest Eugene Kephart of Osceola, Iowa, who passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anderson Kephart and Mary Kephart (Hulbert); his brothers, Wayne Kephart, Harold Kephart and Everett Kephart; his stepgrandson Jacob Harriss; and his stepgreat-grandson Dylan Mathesius.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Drury; his stepdaughters, Brenda Harriss (Michael) of Dekalb, IL, Glenda Davies (John) of Sycamore, IL and Amy Norris (Martin) of Truro, IA; his siblings, Jerry Kephart (Sharon) of Burleson, TX, Dale Kephart (Connie) of St. Charles, IA, Doris Dolton (Jeff) of Winterset, IA, Dorothy McDonald (Bill) of Winterset, IA and Debra Kephart of Winterset, IA; his siblings-in-law, Maurcice Drury, Sandy Haraf and Lisa Rourke; his stepgrandchildren, Devon, Paige, Sarah, Jamie, Courtney, Nicole, Zach and DeLayne; and also Elaine Kephart of New Virginia, IA. He is also survived by one great-grandchild, along with twenty step-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kale Funeral Home - Osceola (301 S Main St, Osceola, IA 50213). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
