He was predeceased by: his parents, Anderson Kephart and Mary Kephart (Hulbert); his brothers, Wayne Kephart, Harold Kephart and Everett Kephart; his stepgrandson Jacob Harriss; and his stepgreat-grandson Dylan Mathesius.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Drury; his stepdaughters, Brenda Harriss (Michael) of Dekalb, IL, Glenda Davies (John) of Sycamore, IL and Amy Norris (Martin) of Truro, IA; his siblings, Jerry Kephart (Sharon) of Burleson, TX, Dale Kephart (Connie) of St. Charles, IA, Doris Dolton (Jeff) of Winterset, IA, Dorothy McDonald (Bill) of Winterset, IA and Debra Kephart of Winterset, IA; his siblings-in-law, Maurcice Drury, Sandy Haraf and Lisa Rourke; his stepgrandchildren, Devon, Paige, Sarah, Jamie, Courtney, Nicole, Zach and DeLayne; and also Elaine Kephart of New Virginia, IA. He is also survived by one great-grandchild, along with twenty step-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
