She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Everett Miller and Lois Miller (Heston); her husband James Lyle Penick, Jr.; her pet Olive; her friend Virginia Miller; her siblings, Mary Ann Marvin and Wayne Miller; her in-laws, James Albert Penick, Sr. and Jean Penick; her sister-in-law Peggy Penick; her niece Wendi Lee Marvin; her great-niece Elania Critz; her daughters, Courtney Denney (Trenton) of Osceola, IA and Manda Wright (Colter) of Osceola, IA; her grandsons, Skylar Johnson (Callie Gillespie) of Des Moines, IA, Noah Denney of Osceola, IA, Lucas Denney (Zoey Spalding) of Osceola, IA, Alec Wright of Osceola, IA and Drake Wright of Osceola, IA; her sister Suzi Miller (Ron) of Oakland, IA; her siblings-in-law, Kenneth Penick (Marilyn) of Murray, Rick Penick (Kristy) of Ellston, IA and Sharon Miller of Odessa, TX; and her caregivers, Kelsey Sorter, Judy Paulson, Teresa Dixon, Cherrie Hainline, Kelli Hainline, Leslie Wright, Samantha Penick, Audrey Penick, Virginia Miller, Tracey, Vicki Wright, Addison Belzer, Paige Rebertus, Natasha Hadley, Ashley Wasson, Megan Clark, Marcella Short and Helen Hart.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kale Funeral Home - Osceola (301 S Main St, Osceola, IA 50213). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
