She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Angus and Bessie Casady (Baldwin); her husband Harold Eugene Newcomb; and her brother P. R.. She is survived by: her sons, Gene (Lucy) and Doug; her brother Ted Casady (Van) of Macon, Missouri; and her grandchildren, Nicole, Doug Jr. and Mallory.

Memorials are suggested in lieu of flowers to the family to be used for charitable causes.
