He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Blake and Helen Blake (Durben); his wife Germaine Mayer; his brother Glenn; and his sister-in-law Sharon.
He is survived by: his sons, D. C. On and Honor Flight; his brothers, Donald (Jean) of Tenerife, Charles (Myrna) of Bella Vista, AR, Walter (Maggie) of St. Ansgar, IA and Roger (Betty) of Stacyville, IA; his sister-in-law Patricia of Maple Grove, MN; his children, Debra Blake (James Alvey) of New Brighton, MN, Diane Peterson (Ron) of Lakeville, MN and Mark Blake of Polk City, IA; his grandsons, Erick Peterson (Luisa) of St. Paul, MN and Adam Peterson of Minneapolis, MN; and his great grandchildren, Sophia and Andre. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
