She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Ahern and Blanche Ahern (Grebin); her husband Edward Viskocil; her stepdaughter Ann Rolke; and her siblings, Bernice Medhaug, Maureen Dee, Vergil Ahern and Donald Ahern.
She is survived by: her daughter Sheryl; her former husband Keith McInroy; her children, Sheri McInroy (Edward Whitehill) of Mason City, Madonna Swartzbaugh (Jim) of Newport Beach, Rhonda Hugunin (William) of Camanche, Steven McInroy (Jeanne) of Draper and Julie Byrd (James) of Knoxville, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Jason Blake, Chad Blake, Robby Koppen, Traci Hansen, Hallie Packard, Nathan Swartzbaugh, Erich Hugunin, Ellis Hugunin, Kelsea Yetton, Collin McInroy, Brenna McDowell, Kyle, Zachary, Emma and Grace Byrd; her stepchildren, James Viskocil (Cynthia) of River Falls and Jane Viskocil of Osage; her stepgrandchildren, Kimberly Viskocil, John Viskocil, Jeffery Biddle, Justin Biddle and Laura Rolke; and her sister Doris Thompson of Savannah, Georgia. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson.
Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will not be having public services at this time.
The family suggests memorials to Hospice of North Iowa, Sacred Heart Catholic Church or the American Cancer Society.
