He is survived by: his sons, Frank (Vicki) of Waverly, Dean (Terri) of Adel, Dennis (Renae) of Armstrong and Craig (Lori) of Ankeny; his wife Lois Smith; and his grandsons, Matthew Haaland, Eric Haaland, Rob Haaland, Ryan Haaland, Nick Haaland, Thomas Haaland, Nathan Haaland and Trevor Haaland. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
