He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Smalley and Marian Smalley (Halverson); and his siblings, Darrell Smalley and Beverly Smalley. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Wolffrum; his children, Thomas Michael of Abilene, KS, Scott Smalley of Osage and Elizabeth Shimabuku (Smalley) of Abilene, KS; his siblings, Marilyn Fischer (Darrell) of Fresno, CA, Suzanne Erickson (Carroll) of Ankeny, Ted Smalley (Diana) of Edmond, OK, Russell Smalley (Sue) of Riceville and Barbara Victor (George) of Topeka, KS; his grandson Charles Kenji Shimabuku; and his former wives, Marilyn Smalley and Marjorie Bradley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
