He was predeceased by: his parents, Art Mayer and Frances Mayer (Meyer); his wife Darlene "Poochie"; and his daughter Mary. He is survived by: his children, Steve Mayer of Osage, Sue Novack (John) of Maple Grove, Bruce Mayer (Denise) of Stacyville and Jane Mayer of Roseville, MN; his grandchild Bryce Mayer (Sally); his great grandchildren, Lane, Lily, Liam and Katie Jeske (Bob); his sister-in-law Ruth Mayer; and also, Toby, Luke, Noah, Adam Mayer (Kjersti), Kellan, Kendall, Laura Novack and Ryan Novack.
