He is survived by: his wife Helen Schmidt of Osage; his daughter Michele Schaefer (Eric) of Northwood; his grandchildren, Brittany Dobberstein (Dustin), Ashlyn Schaefer and Jenna Schaefer; his great grandchildren, Jada, Anna, Emerson, Ben and Emma; his sister Dorothy Mensch of Manly; and his sister-in-law Ruth Schmidt of Manly. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many relatives and friends.
