Richard Rogers Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Rogers of Osage, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 22, 2025 at the age of 76. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Rogers to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilbert Rogers and Collette Rogers (Rennier); and his daughter Jennifer Tresch. He is survived by: his wife Darlys King; his daughter Angie Boehmer (Jim) of Lake Mills; his grandson Lincoln Boehmer (Cara); his great grandchild Canyon of Slater; his grandsons, Grant Boehmer (Harmony) of Forest City and Cael Boehmer of Waverly; his daughter Beth Ann Olson (Jeremy Klobassa) of Osage; his grandchildren, Kendall, Kaitlyn Olson and Kolton Olson; his son Nick Rogers (Jordan Gardiner) of Washington, Iowa; his grandchildren, Jaxon Rogers, Fraya and Piper Gardiner; his son-in-law Travis Tresch; and his siblings, Monte Rogers (Pat) of Orchard, Theresa Muhlenbruck (Ron) of Osage and Kathy Orsland (Jim) of Ankeny. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (1204 State St, Osage, IA 50461). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for the Rick Rogers Memorial Scholarship.
