Melba E. Mayer-Leidall Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melba E. Mayer-Leidall of Osage, Iowa, born in Lyle, Minnesota, who passed away on January 31, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Jordan and Emma Jordan; her husband Francis Mayer; her daughter Debra (Paul); and her son-in-law David Spitz.
She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Spitz (David) of Osage and Keith Mayer (Denise) of Osage; her grandchildren, Brad "BJ" Mayer (Laura), Marea Tribble (Steve), Darin Spitz (Anna), Jennifer Little (Steve) and Staci Long (Tim); her sister Darlene Mayer; and her sisters-in-law, Marge Weis and Yvonne Yezek (Bill). She is also survived by 14 great grand children, 4 great great grandchildren.
Due to COVID restrictions, a private family service will be held at Our Savior's Lutheran Church and burial will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
