She was predeceased by: her parents, Stoddard Betts and Nellie Betts (Wells); her husband Bernard Vote; her close friend Alex Adams; her half-siblings, Donald Collins, Philip Betts, George Betts, Miles Edgar, June Murphy and Orla Mae Potter; and her siblings-in-law, Merlyn Vote, Clarence Jr. Vote, Roger Vote, Bruce Vote and Anna Marie Padget.
She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Arlys Vote of Riceville, IA, Margaret Vote of Carver, MN, Mary Lou Vote of Elma, IA and Millie Betts of Osage, IA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hindt-Hudek Funeral Home (407 Woodland Ave, Riceville, IA 50466). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Mary Ann has requested memorials be made out to the United Methodist Church in McIntire and the Faith Lutheran Nursing Home.
