She was predeceased by: her father Fred Dorl; her son Paul Shaffer; her mother Viola Coutant; her stepfather Charles "Smokey" Coutant; and her son-in-law Russell Voight.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Voight of Owatonna, Sally Ogden (Zeke) of Osage, Russell Shaffer of Dubuque and Amy Beaver (Brian) of St. Ansgar; her grandchildren, Ryan Voight (Jade), Tasha Donath, Lee Shaffer, Jay Shaffer, Cody Beaver and Katie Beaver; and her sisters, Norene Roth of Darien and Linda Clark of Norridge, Illinois.. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
