Margie Frances Davis Obituary

We bid farewell to Margie Frances Davis (Osage, Iowa), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 12, 2024 at the age of 91. Margie Frances touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mikkel Bratrud and Frances Bratrud (Van Hooser); her grandson Adam Davis; her great grandchild Rae Ann Davis; and her siblings, Betty Cook and Arnold Bratrud.

She is survived by: her children, Glen Davis (Janet), Susan Steele (Steve), Gene Davis (Cindy) and Sandra Gonzalez (Luis); her grandchildren, Jason (Sarah), Kip (Sarah), Gaven Davis (Taya), Matthew, Mikkel Schmidt (Kristin), Rachel Pederson (Tyson), Justin (Jaime), Garrett Davis (Sydney), Kailey Weber (Garret), Lauren, Kelvin and Amado Gonzalez (Georgie); and her stepgrandchildren, Jeffrey, Drew Steele (Kylie) and Jessica Hanson (Mitch). She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Deer Creek Valley Lutheran Church - Glenville. A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the London Deer Creek Cemetery Association.

“Family and friends, I'm praying God's peace and comfort as you are saying goodbye to Margie. Margie held a special place in my heart. I have known her all my life as a relative, friend and neighbor. I babysat their children, so feel close to them, too. She lived a full life. I will miss her, as I visited her every day. I'm sure there was welcome party as she entered heaven, that is beyond anything we can imagine, all because of our savior, Jesus!! See you in heaven, dear Margie!!”
