She was predeceased by: her parents, Blanche Gregg (Padelford) and Alva Gregg; her husband Maurice Maakestad; her sister-in-law Dorothy Berry; her brother Edwin; and her siblings-in-law, Jaqueline Maakestad, Kenneth and Ivan Johnson.
She is survived by: her sons, Gregg Allan and Michael David; her sister-in-law Katherine Johnson (Maakestad); her daughter-in-law Linnae; her grandchildren, Kelsey (Maakestad) and Ryan Jensen; her great grandchildren, Zachary, Dashiel and Colton; her grandchildren, Kristen (Maakestad) and Bryce Becker; her great grandchildren, Brayden and Blayne; her grandchildren, Kyle and Heather Maakestad (Herbsleb); and her great grandchildren, Lincoln and Oliver. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
