He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Benttine and Alice Benttine (Thompson); his son Dennis Dean Benttine; and his brothers, Clayton, Lester and Donald.
He is survived by: his children, Connie Kay Benttine Wagner (Galen) and Carl LeRoy Benttine (Stephanie); his wife Joanne Benttine; his grandchildren, Gabriella Frost (Steve), Peter Wagner (Wendy Wolf), Melinda Beland (Andy), Tasha Wagner (Bobby Deeds), Rose Woolums, Heather Benttine (Steveo Raybon), Allison Weaver (John), Savannah Nelson (Jordan) and Zachary Benttine (Jess); and his sisters-in-law, Janice Benttine and Marianne Benttine. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
