He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Phearman and Frankie Phearman (Carter); his wife Cathy; his brother Lee Roy Phearman (Sharon); his parents-in-law, Francis and Catherine "Edith" Oldham; his siblings-in-law, Jim Oldham, Francis "Joe" Oldham, John "Jack" Oldham and Alan Oldham; and his sister Mary Ellen Oldham.
He is survived by: his former wife Catherine Oldham; his children, Linda Read, Lisa Nieman (David), Lynn Phearman (Lora), Leanne Bailey (Mark), Nora Springs and Rick Jenkins (Carrie); his grandchildren, Robert Read, Ken Read (Jessica), Melissa Ward (Jason), Ben Nieman (Kelly), Kathryn Smalley (Kevin), Joe Phearman, Maria Phearman, Jon Phearman, Andrew Bailey (Staci) and Steven Bailey; his sisters-in-law, Janet Oldham, Peg Oldham, Darlene Oldham, Imelda Housch (Charles) and Honorary; and his granddaughter Megan McNulty (Sarah).
