He is survived by: his wife Terry Johanns of New Haven; his mother Shirley Johanns of Osage; his children, Joe Johanns (Ann) of New Haven, Jenna Carlson (Andrew) of Wylie and Jessa Ketelsen (Casey) of Osage; his grandchildren, Lucas, Spencer, Weston Johanns, Tyler, Avery Carlson, Olivia, Ava, Cade Ketelsen, Ben, Lauren and Megan Gerdman; and his siblings, Ann Stewart (Wayne) of Morro Bay, Bill Johanns (Dawn) of Osage, Susan Blake (Dan) of Stacyville and Barbara Johnson (Don) of Osage. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
