He was predeceased by: his brothers, Bob Schaffner and Glenn Schaffner. He is survived by: his parent Barbara Schaffner (Tancoast); his wife Diane Schaffner of Osage; his sons, Ralph Curbert (Tammie) of Lowell and Vincent Kramme of Waterloo; his granddaughter Summer Kramme of Waterloo; and his siblings, Pam Moss (Larry) of Topeka, Jan Schaffner of Topeka, Karen Balmain of Topeka, Lynn Margien of Topeka and Gary Schaffner of Bullhead.
