He is survived by: his former wife Janice Hernan; his sisters, Madaline Blazer and Priscilla Kiefer; his children, Julie Gabby (Ken), Vicki Johnson (Steve), Marlin Duren (Kelli) and John Duren (Alejandra); his grandsons, Aaron Gabby, Jeremy Gabby, Dillon Johnson, Tristan Johnson, Jacob Duren and Zachery Duren; his great grandchild Gage Gabby; and his siblings, Otto Duren, Hubert Duren and Olga Thurnau. He is also survived by several brother and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
